We are proud to have the Suerchingo captained by Eddy Cesena. Captain Eddy will get you the rest of the way there - including releasing or landing your catch.

Eddy began his career alongside his brother Hugo Cesena in the Picante Fleet. Hugo was honored as Captain of the Year by The Billfish Foundation, a leader in global pelagic conservation. He also worked with Jack Duvall on Listo who has released over 1,000 billfish. Eddy is fully licensed Captain, recognized by the Mexican AHJs.

Eddy was born and raised in Cabo San Lucas. His deep roots in the community benefit our guests on and off the boat. During his early career with his brother, he learned all aspects of boat mechanics, maintenance and cosmetics. Most importantly, he inherited his family's love for fishing. The joy Eddy gets from helping family, friends and guests fish is why he’s one of the most respected captains in Cabo.

Martin Gonzalez Caro has been on Team Suerchingo since 2019. His great attitude is contagious and you'll soon find yourself smiling more. He's a great coach for anglers of all skill levels.

Aron Cesena Castro is Eddy's nephew and a fixture on Suerchingo. He works hard for everyone and is a great fisherman!
